Obesity is the condition of having increased body weight caused by excessive accumulation of fat. Statistically, there are approximately 127 million U.S adults (www.weightlossmd.com) that are overweight now days. Obesity rather than being a simple condition of eating too much is now recognized as a serious, chronic disease. It is strong in prevalence and prejudice, mortality and morbidity, sickness and stigma when compared to any other human conditions. Currently, it is a modern trend that people will try almost anything to lose weight for personal reasons. As the first main reason, there is health, which could be strongly influenced by the fact of having excess weight. Those suffering of heaviness encounter themselves as victims of dangerous diseases such as: cancer, diabetes, arthritis, asthma, and the worst of all heart ailments. All of these standing as one example are the main cause of numerous fatalities currently around the world. The physical condition of possessing extra pounds affects people's ability to do chores and lose corporeal equilibrium. Health, appearance, and low self-esteem are three main factors or explanations of why a community of people will try almost anything to lose weight. People follow their dreams for a reason, which could be wrong or right, but their dedication is the path to success. For most people appearance is not of importance but for others it means the drive of wanting to surpass many barriers in their lives. Losing weight as a treatment for low self-esteem and personal problems is a magnificent idea. As many others do, people that find themselves in a situation of embarrassment do not know how to get out of it, and they feel as if the world is going to crash in them. Also, many people want to accomplish the hard goal of getting in form through daily exercising. The three of them could be rated as of importance, or even as the wrong or right reasons for losing that extra heaviness, which bothers people. First of all a presentable image is a tool they desire to have on their side in order to feel fine. They do not want to be seen by people as usual losers who would give up in their lives because of physical impediments.
