Scarface

Most people consider The Untouchables to be one of the greatest gangster films ever made. The dynamic duo of Brian De Palma's directing and sensational acting by Kevin Costner help enhance the movies major subject matter and have the viewer glued to their seat throughout the movie. The Untouchables opens during the spring of 1980, the movie is based on the 1930 probation and the gang violence in that time. When the government of united state created the probation law gangs started to traffic alcohol. One such man is Tony Montana, a street smart thug who knows what to say, what to do and when to do what he needs to do, to get exactly what he wants. Brian De Palma's Scarface is beyond doubt one of the most excellent classical movies of all time. Such great classical aspects are evident through the tough lines of dialogue, radiant acting, and an amazingly well written story line. Scarface is by far the most influential crime movies in American culture. The script of a movie is the most important part; it's the foundation of a movie. The duo of Tony and Manny are unforgettable, two best friends which start off with nothing and turn into the biggest "gangsters". The movie portrays many political views one can see in the different quotes by Montana "I kill a communist for fun, but for a green card, I gonna carve him up real nice. The idea of the American dream is very big in this movie, a street thug who had nothing comes to America and works hard and gets everything a millionaire has. And although a violent man, Tony believes his violence can always be justified. A number of rappers single out Tony Montana as a role model for his transition from poverty to wealth. " Again a memorable line by Tony, which shows his power and authority, and how much his power multiplies as the movie progresses. " His character is so well played even as a bad guy the viewer can empathize with him, and you start to like him. Tony's characters transforms through the movie, although a drug dealer, Tony remains a truthful man. The script helps describe the thought of the American dream, and through the acting of Al Pacino this is signified.
