My Faith...Where does it Stand?
Faith is completely and explicitly trusting and believing in something with unwavering loyalty. Faith is a source of discipline and power and meaning in the lives of people. It requires no proof. It is believing of things unseen. That's how I define my faith anyway. I have always been a firm believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. In other words, I am a Christian. This is where my faith has chosen to go. It has never wandered into other religions or philosophies. I am proud to say that my faith in Christ is strong and cannot be broken. I believe that the Lord created everything in six days. I believe that Christ is truly the Son of God, that He died for our sins and that three days later He was resurrected. I am sure that Christ was not an ordinary man, He performed many astounding miracles during His time on earth, He cured fatal diseases, He made the blind see, the deaf hear and the mute speak, He is the only one who walked on water. He even drove out demons from people; His simple word
Not one person could ever be as loving, compassionate and wise as He is. In the bible I learned that Noah's faith saved him from the destruction of his generation. I believe in the Lord because of all the things He has done for me. Daniel and his friends survived the fiery furnace because of steadfastness in their faith. There is a book too that I trust above all. But now, I am secure and I am proud to say that I am a child of God. These are the many reasons why my faith can never be destroyed; and I tell you, neither a person nor an object, not even a book, can move my faith from where is stands. We should just pray to Him with all our heart. The sufferings of Job have become a proverbial measure of faith. He never leaves me alone, for He has promised that He shall never leave me nor forsake me. He continually blesses me with gifts that I do not deserve. He always forgives me of my sins whenever I confess them to Him. I tell them that God helps us solve our problems and that we should never fear life's problems, for God is greater than any problem we shall face.
