Ozone Depletion
As far back as human history goes, scientists today have discovered the depletion of the ozone layer and have studied how it is caused by human actions and inventions that affect our environment and style of living. As the cause of this, many changes have been taking place during the past twenty years or so that humans have and still are concerned of, as they search for new ideas to alleviate this problem. The three main causes of the ozone depletion are the use of CFC's, the increment of carbon monoxide and dioxide and the use of greenhouse gases, thus, permitting penetration of UVB, ultraviolet light type B, into the ozone layer, calamitous behaviors and reactions in living species, and the drastic amendment in weather. During the nineteenth century, several discoveries and inventions took place, like the invention of the (CFCs), chlorofluorocarbons, that were thought to be helpful to human daily activities, which is indeed true, and to make life easier. These chemicals were believed to be miracle substances; they were thought to be low in toxics, nonflammable, inexpensive and stable to produce equipments and production such as, refrigerants, solvents, foam blowing agents, and other smaller applications.(1) These substances fu
It is released when fossil fuels, waste (coal, oil, natural gas) and wood production are burnt. Though, these chemicals are used for a certain amount of time, because they break down subsequently and consequently they damage the protective ozone layer which protects the earth from the Ultraviolet light released by the sun. Furthermore, the collection of all of these gases accumulates and it deepens in the sky forming the yellow-polluted shade line, like for example, the shaded line that marks the city of Toronto at night. As previously been noted, the depletion of the ozone layer could bring several disastrous consequences that will affect humans and the entire chain of life, living organisms and existence. Although, during several studies, while analyzing the recent discovery of the ozone depletion, the scientists discovered the serious damage that the filtrates of engines cause to the environment and the ozone layer. Finally, if humans don't react quickly, the consequences will lead to the extinction of the human being and God's plan for human beings will fail as we will destroy his only creation and love. These engines were and are thought to be men's most helpful invention ever created in human history. Even though the UVB lights are naturally dispersed by the sun, they are composed by smaller wavelengths that are stronger and more deeply penetrable in all living organisms than the UVA lights. The last and final issue is the radical alterations in weather. Moreover, these gases let sunlight to enter the atmosphere without restraint, consequently altering the chemical composition of the stratosphere in the atmosphere causing global warming. On the other hand, it'll also affect the PHs of the lakes because this acid-killer will modify the water's properties to be neutral and it'll become a liquid acid, therefore killing all the remaining fishes in the lakes as a catastrophic consequence. Many manufactured substances were mentioned like, the chlorofluorocarbons and hydro chlorofluorocarbons, that destroy the stratospheric ozone layer much faster than it was thought fifteen years ago. The carbon monoxide escape's slowly and then rapidly evacuates through the ozone layer, causing it to reduce and open in a matter of months. On the other hand, scientists believe that the combustion of fossil fuels and many other activities are the crucial facts for incrementing carbon dioxide on earth.
