Supernatural in macbeth

             Macbeth is the last of William Shakespeare's four great tragedies, the others being Hamlet, King Lear and Othello. The play is about a normal solder that is told that he will become king, his ambition leads him to kill the king and he claims the throne. Soon Macbeth is being tortured for his crimes by his own mind, he finally finds himself alone as all the people followed him have perished. He fought bravely but sadly he had lost with a battle with Macduff.
             The play, Macbeth, contains many supernatural beings, these are
             „« The witches, they play an important part of the story
             „« Lady Macbeth, she is known to be the forth witch in the play
             „« The Hallucinations that Macbeth witnesses throughout the play.
             Three witches or supernatural phenomena. Called the 'weird sisters¡ in Shakespeare historical source-book, they related to the three fates in classical mythology. Productions have represented them very differently: as grotesque and frightening; comic and ridiculous; young and beautiful; or masked and hideous.
             In Macbeth, Shakespeare had made the three witches sinister, old beings that can foretell the future. He tends to make the reader have a negative thought about the witches, for example at the beginning of Macbeth the first witch says ¡§when shall we three meet again? In thunder, lightning, or in rain? ¡, by giving an abnormal atmosphere as a meeting place, it can be seen that Shakespeare wanted these witches to be different from other people. He wanted people to only think that witches were evil and in the times of Macbeth people did believe in this.
             Also in Act 4, scene 1, the three witches have a cauldron are casting a spell. The ingredients used to make this spell are by far unbelievable when Macbeth was first released. Shakespeare wrote that the ingredients needed were:
