Private school VS Public School

Private School v. Public School When a parent is getting their child ready to attend school, it can be a tough time for the both of them. There is the fact that their child is going to school for the first time and the decision of what type of school is right for them and their child. There are several types of schools to choose from, two of them are private school and public schools. In order for a parent to choose between the two types of schools, they should compare the two schools by how much it is going to cost them, the student/teacher ratio, if transportation will be provided or not, and what type of lunch program will provided. When choosing between a private school and a public school, a parent may look at what the cost of sending their child to one of them could be and whether or not the school they choose is right for their child. If a parent decides on a private school, they will have to pay tuition fees, purchase their child's books, and buy the school supplies that the child will need. The parents may feel that the tuition fees are acceptable if they feel the school will meet their needs and the needs of their child. However if a parent decides that the fees are too expensive, they ma

Public schools provide transportation, breakfast and lunch; where as private schools do not. Their child may flourish where there are more children their ages. If their child requires more one-on-one with a teacher, then private school could be the best for them. Public schools however, provide both breakfast and lunch. y go with the public school, the parent only has to buy the school supplies their child will be required to have. Most private schools do not provide transportation to and from school, so the parent will have to decide how they will get their child to and from school everyday. This may have the parent decide that the student-to-teacher ratio being so high in a public school not much of an issue as it was before. Most parents 4choose to send their children to public schools because they are more convenient than private schools. The parents will not have to pay tuition fees or purchase their child's books since the public schools get their money from their state government and from donations made through their PTA. One other thing a parent will need to consider will be what type of lunch program the two schools have to offer that will benefit their family's needs. Although the student-to-teacher ratios maybe lower in private schools than is public schools, a parent may feel uneasy to have their child taught in a private school where the teachers do not have to have their teaching certificate in order to teach. Despite the larger classrooms public schooling could still be right for their child. Some parents find this beneficial because they can monitor what their child is eating while at school. There is also the issue of transportation. The parent my feel better know that their child is being taught by someone who has been trained to teach.
