Living On Campus Compared To Off Campus
             People often say that living off of campus in an apartment or house is better than living on campus, but I believe living on campus has more positive sides. Many schools have rules that won't allow freshmen and sophomores to live off of campus, however many schools are running out of room on campus in the dorms and are having to let students live in apartments and hotel rooms.
             Students often say that they have more freedom when living off campus. When living off campus there is no curfew for a college student, he can come and go as he pleases and not have to worry about checking in or out. Students who live off campus and don't have a curfew generally stay up until early in the morning and wake up a few hours later, therefore not getting enough sleep for a healthy lifestyle. Students who do not get enough sleep often get grades to reflect their amount of sleep.
             When living off campus people don't have to check in at the front desk to come visit; they can come and go as they please. Friends coming and going as they please sounds nice at first, but after awhile it gets to where they never leave and you never have anytime to do what needs to get done. When friends are around all the time, homework never gets done and you get very little sleep.
             Living on campus always seems expensive because you pay the for the whole semester room and board at once, but when you live in an apartment or a house you have to pay rent once a month and buy groceries usually at least once a week; which adds up to cost more than living in the dorms. More people get jobs when the live off campus because they can't afford to pay for everything that they want to have or do like a person living on campus would be more likely to be able to afford. When you have a job it makes it even harder to study because you have even less time and you are usually worn out by the time you get off work ...
