The Bush and Saudi Connection and Ethics in Politics
A couple weeks ago I was sitting in my small cell-like dorm room watching the controversial movie, Fahrenheit 9/11. By the way, if you have never seen the movie, I do highly recommend it. As I was watching the movie, a thought popped into my head like when you suddenly remember something you needed to remember but had totally forgotten. I knew right then that this is the topic that I should write about for my final ethics paper. I had pondered on what topic to write on before but nothing was coming. I knew that out of thirty people, the same topics dealing with religion, child labor, death penalty, and abortion were going to be repeated several times and I had no desire to bore the professor. I really wanted to pick a topic that was different. So, here it is, my topic is on the question of how ethical our dear President has been.According to dictionary.com, the definition of ethics is "A set of principles of right conduct. A theory or a system of moral values, the study of the general nature of morals and of the specific moral choices to be made by a person; moral philosophy. Bath, a friend and neighbor of the Bush family, helped in transferring money from Salem bin laden to set up Bush in the oil business. Many other atrocities throughout the world have been headed by bin Laden and al Qaida. Bin Laden is now associated with the atrocities of September 11th. Al Qaida was the base in Afghanistan that would organize networks throughout the country. uestionable behavior in which the majority of Americans are unaware. This is a sensitive topic but the question of ethics is something that should be discussed so that all views are looked at in order to judge the matter as ethical or unethical. Mahfouz was placed under house arrest by the Saudi royal family, which was a minimal punishment for his crime.
