This experience in the gym was different from some of the experiences I have had in the classroom. I have had experience with children whose second language is English. I had difficulty when I was growing up as a child with being able to communicate or understand directions in English. The child had not taken a nap at her usual time before she came into the gym. One of the games in the gym that was played was called "Here There and Everywhere". The children had numerous choices in what they wanted to do. The kids were active and into all the activities that were planned in the gym. Another activity that was planned was free play.
