israel's independence

Israel or Palestine has been the holy land of the Jewish people. Long before biblical times the Jews were settled in Palestine and from then on They have been spreading Their religion, culture, and identity to the rest of the world. Bus Israel hasn't always existed, as a matter of fact it is one of the most recent new Nations formed. Ever since the Jewish community were exiled from Palestine they would always hope that God would bring a messiah which would bring the Jewish society back to Palestine and make it a nation for the Jews. It was during these times that Zionism was first developed. The Zionist have always been arguing and fighting for Palestine and the Jewish people. Their main goal was to bring back the Jewish people into Palestine and establish a home for them. Near the end of World War I the British government issued a letter called the Balfour declaration, which expressed their approval of Zionism. This would soon greatly help in the formation of Israel. Little that they knew that the Zionist would soon gain enough power to form a solid nation which they have been always hoped for. As mentioned before Zionism goes back to biblical times, and their main goal was to esta

This was the most important document to the Zionists because with this they had achieved their main goal. As Israel became older it's effects were not positive. During 1949, armistice agreements were signed under UN auspices between Israel and Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon. The war ended by both the agreement accepted by Israel, Egypt and Syria, and the Egyptian-Israeli peace treaty signed on March 26, 1979. The Zionist had achieved their main goal. In the same year of the partition of Palestine between the Arabs and the Jews a war broke out between these two communities. Mainly Israel's declaration of Independence had very important reasons for its creation and also it had major effects on the world back then and today still. The reasons for the establishment of Israel were decent and fair enough to be done. It caused many wars to break out between it and its neighboring nations. Since Palestine began to look like a small Nation, Jewish authorities had no other choice but to end British mandate over Palestine and establish the State of Israel. # Finally everyone settled down and Israel forces left in March 1958. The declaration of Israel's independence stated that Israel was to be home of the Jewish people without any discrimination of other religions and cultures. There was a time of tranquillity and the relations between Israel and Egypt remained pretty stable during the following decade. Eventhough there was no celebrations because of the wars, the Jewish people were still happy that they had gotten a Nation of their own and prayed that any other controversies between Israel and its neighboring Nations would soon end. # The war caused massive lives lost and the costs were the greatest since World War II.
