Brave new world

Aldous Huxley wrote A Brave New World, he published it in 1932. At that time people really thought about the book and wondered if Earth would ever be like that. The book takes place in the future when people are mass produced in factories. The point of view in the novel is 3rd person. The title relates to the story because in the future the world is going to be a totally different place than it is today, so it's a brave new world. The story is about how Huxley will think life will be like in the future. People will be mass produced in factories with very little differences between them. T

Gammas are mass produced to be almost identical. Many things they discussed related to how our society is now, for example with drugs. In the brave new world people have no families, no freedom, morality, spirituality or rights. They use a drug called soma to clear the mind of everything bad and make themselves feel happy. All in all this type of world is coming sooner than you think. Prozac is one of many drugs with this purpose. I thought the novel was pretty good, it had a strong point of view of how our world is going to be in the future, for being published in the early 1900's. In current society people use drugs like soma to make them feel better about themselves. Many people in this world use Prozac in order to make them happy and to take away their problems, just the same way the people of brave new world do with soma. I think the novel A Brave New World, is telling us some messages that this type of world is coming soon and we should change before we end up like that. If I could change anything about the novel I would make it less sexual than you could encourage younger readers to read it without worrying as much. Everybody is assigned a job before they are produced and they are always happy with their job, so no one ever complains about it. Overall it was a good book that I would recommend. here are two classes of people, Alphas are the smarter superior class, while gammas are the lower class.
