Salem Witch Trials

In my personal opinion the Salem Witch Trials were a result of socio-economical treason. Yes the "witches" followed their own religion and did not follow God has the rest of them did. But the others did not dislike them because of that. They disliked them and persecuted them because they were different. The "witches" did not follow the normal rule of the times. "Witches" made up their own rules and did their own things. They also corrupted many other people who felt that they had been possessed but they never hurt them. For them that was their way of life, in their views it was the best way of life. In everybody else's view it was a terrible way of life. People viewed "witches" has trash not so much because they were following another religion but because they weren't acting exactly like they were.
To be a "witch" back then was to be like a prostitute now. Everyone looks down on you, you are viewed has the bottom of the barrel. They never wanted you in any of the social gatherings in town or in church on Sunday. Even though most "witches" did not go to church their were very few who did not want to make it seem like they were a witch so they went to church. If you were convicted or put to trial for suspicion of being a witch you were tortured in prison and then finally hung. "Witches" were the devil himself, they were his minions that had to be stopped because if they weren't they would change everybody. Most people that were put to trial were only suspected of being "witches" because they did different rituals then everybody else. Some of them did not go to church, some of them did not go to social gatherings, some of them did not work or get married. Just because they choose a different life then the same predictable life everyone else choose they were persecuted. Imagine the number of people who would be killed in
