             Death camps and labor camps were part of a larger scheme created by the Nazis, which Hitler controlled. The nation of Germany blindly followed Hitler into World War 2. Under his command Aryan race was supposed to prevail over every other, a so-called "perfect" race, which Hitler undoubtfully believed. He decided that everyone else who lived in Germany like Jews, gypsies, non-supporters of Nazism, and mentally ill individuals were to be eliminated from the German population.
             "He proceeded to reach his goal in a systematic scheme. "One of his main methods of "doing away" with these "undesirables" was through the use of concentration camps." That's how he came up with a plan called "the final solution". Auschwitz one of seven concentration camps throughout Europe carried out that plan in greater numbers than any other."(Holocaust p.43)
             About 4,000,000 were believed to be gassed and killed at Auschwitz, the largest cemetery in the world. Camps were set up for different purposes. Some for forced labor, others for medical experiments, and later on, for deathextermination.
             The Germans systematically rounded up the Jews during World War 2.
