April morning
April Morning is a historcial fiction novel written by Howard Fast. This book takes place during the revolutionary war. During this time the characters travel through many different settings. These settings effect the way the characters act, think and feel. Adeam Cooper is affected by his setting, Moses Cooper is also effected by setting, and also while reading this book it teaches you some things about the revolutionary war. Adam changes the way he acts, thinks and feels depending on his setting. On page 22 "The proof of a man is the will to work and the ability to use his mind and his judgement. Can you offer that proof Adam? I stared at him in silence. Talk to me when you can Adam." This is when Adam is at his house at the beginning of the book tring to act like a man to fight in the war. Moses acts, thinks and feels differently when he is on different settings. Alot of people were effected from loss of people from dying in the war. He can be a happier person when he likes what he sees. In committee mettings he also has the chance to argue alot. This setting made his feel safe and glad to be home. " During this battle he was proud of his son for being brave and fighting to this war. " This is when he got back home from the war. "Next , they took up the disscussion of a newspaper my father rose up to speak his point. "Why am I angry Adam? It is because you repeated some foolish childish doggeral when you drew water from the well. Familys lost alot of friends and family members. On page 96 "Father looked at me, smiled and nodded. " This is during his first battle after the shots were fired. This story takes place during the Revolutionary War. The characters travel through many different settings.
