Life Story
New York was where I was born in the Bronx on February 17, 1981.My life has probably not been the easiest but it has only made me stronger. My mother and father got divorced when I was three years old. I grew up with no father and a mother always working two jobs to support my sister and me. Never having a parent around my sister Jeannine and me became very independent. While living in New York we moved around a lot. And then when I was nine my family, which consisted of my sister, my mother, and me, moved to Old Bridge, New Jersey.
One summer I had three jobs: lifeguarding, carvel, and a sales representative for a company called Bathfitter. Around the age of thirteen I started the babysitting. If I don't learn about business now I'm going to be lost in the future weather it be in my career, or socially. I free lance, going from store to store pulling in clientele and selling for the company. Once I got a taste of money I would work as much as I possibly could. I am hoping that this job will help me in my future career. Hopefully I can even own my own business one day. I am currently working for my mother. I also was on the honor roll all through high school, and was involved as much as time would allow me with school activities. She is the Account Executive for an exclusive cosmetic company, Orlane Cosmetics. I am taking this course because everything in life some way or another involves business. I am a Fashion Studies major and would like to be a buyer. I went thru the regular grammar school like everyone and went to Old Bridge High School. I set 3 school records and also placed 2 years in a row in the state championships.
