The Contents of my grandmother
THE CONTENTS of MY GRANDMOTHER'S ATTICWhen I lived with my grandmother, she always made me go to her attic to retrieve things. Every time I would go to her attic, I would constantly injure myself. For instance, I got hit in the head with a falling object every time I pulled the stairs down. Another situation was the lights. The lights were broken all the time. Therefore, it was dark as tar. As I walked up the steps in the attic, I was constantly stepping on all types of trash lying on the floor, and the boxes that were stacked in the attic did not make it any better. After looking at all the boxes she has in the attic, I decided to walk further back into the attic only to fall on four big piles of clothes. I just do not understand why my grandmother keeps her attic so cluttered. My grandmother is a sweet and nice person. My grandmother loves to dust, wash dishes, mops the floors, sweep the floors etc.... On the other hand, her attic was a different story. My grandmother just believes that she has to save every
She would say "one day I'm going to be able to fit these clothes again. Another example is when my grandmother goes to the grocery store, and she would make a request that she only wants her purchases bagged in paper bags. She has can foods, can sodas, water, and candy. When my grandmother was pregnant with my mother, she bought some maternity clothes and she still has them in her attic to remember the time she was pregnant. She would store extra things in boxes and put them in the attic. Instead, the bags just sat in the attic and collected dust. My grandmother wanted to try to recycle as a hobby, so she would go to the store to purchase can sodas. My grandmother does not believe in wasting her money on anything. She is seventy years old, and she has not changed not one bit. She would say "there going to use these paper bags as book covers or they can pay for there books if they damage them. She likes to view the sale papers, read the comics, and read the daily news. She would keep extra supplies just in case something would happen, and she was unable to get out of the house. I know my grandmother is old fashion. She has about six boxes of food in the attic.
