             The most popular topic for last summer could be the disaster of earth. In the movies of these days, we could see most of the movies directors to make our earth become a huge disaster. If you have seen the movies "Armageddon" and "Deep Impact", you probably would notice that these two movies are within the same topic, and the contents are similar. But, there are still some differences between them...
             First, I would like to talk about the movie "Deep Impact". In this movie, we know that there is a comet going to hit earth. Not exactly, but we know this one is the size of Manhattan below 110th street. And it is first detected a year before the emergency, when a high school astronomer takes a photograph through his telescope. Cut to a comet expert pizza at his keyboard. Finding distractedly with his computer, this scientist happens to exemine the comet's orbit. After dispatching with the scientist in one of the films infrequent action sequences the story jumps forward to find an MSNBC reporter, Jenny Lerner, stumbling onto a scope. Jenny has a lead about the popular circumstances surrounding the resignation of the Security Treassury. She thinks he has been having an affair with a woman named Ellie. Unfortunately, the sweet nothing that this man has been whispering are actually about an ELE. That is sure for Extinction Level Event, which is long for killer comet. And Jenny is the first to know. This movie is full of family's love and is a very emotional movie.
             In the movie "Armageddon", first seen chipping golf balls spitefully at a green peace vessel, Bruce Willis starts as a bullying oil tycoon who is called Harry S. Stamper ans lives up ot the name. For the same reasons that Willis perhaps had the biggest trailer on the set, he monopolizes the noblest moments in the movie, but he has to establish Harry's boorishness first.
