             Whilst on his journey home Odysseus proved to be an excellent aristocrat. In difficult situations he presented himself in a respectful and accommodating manner when needing assistance. He was extremely grateful and praised all those who aided him. Odysseus' tragic journey amazed those whom he met; they admired his persistence and strong will to return home. Whilst in Phaecia, Odysseus revealed his identity to it's noble people.
             " I am Odysseus, Laertes' son. The whole world talks of my stratagems, and my fame has reached the heavens."
             This was a statement that reflected the renowned Odysseus. One of the main reasons he persisted with reaching his homeland was to once again see his wife.
