MacBeth

The play Macbeth contains a certain amount of fatalism. The appearance of the weird sisters leads me to think that Macbeth's fate is determined by destiny. The three witches that he sees in the beginning basically determine his fate from the start. The witches tell Macbeth in the beginning of the play that he will be Thane of Cawdor and then be the king of Scotland. They also say that Banquo will start a new line of kings from his family even though Banquo wont be a king. After being told that he was the Thane of Cawdor, Macbeth seemed curious as to what would happen with him eventually being king. He then t

He didn't even want to go along with it. He then revisits the witches and again they tell him of another prophecy. Everyone in Scotland was affected by the outcome because now they have a new king. Macbeth is finally killed by Macduff in the final battle and Malcolm states he will be crowned at Scone and be the next king of Scotland which ends Macbeth's rule. ells Lady Macbeth of the prophecies the witches told him so she said he should kill Duncan and then he will definitely be king. She's the one who told him to murder Duncan. Malcolm was affected because he now has a lot more power because he's the new king. Eventually the troops take over the castle and Macbeth and Macduff have the final duel. They said he shouldn't fear any man born of a woman and that he will be safe until Birnam Wood comes to the Dunsinane Castle. In this duel Macduff states he was not born of a woman but "untimely ripped" from his mothers womb. It was Macbeth's destiny to be killed because of the prophecies and how they all came true. Macbeth saw this and concluded that the prophecies were coming true. However, Malcolm and Macduff raised an army together and thought it would be a good idea to hide the army will branches and trees to hide just how many troops there was. By killing Duncan he saw how easy it was to fix a problem by murder so he thinks murder could solve almost any problem.
