Dictators of World War 2
The war that killed the greatest, damaged the most, cost the largest amount, and affected the most people more then any other war, was World War 2. Many things caused this six-year long war. The dictators of Italy, Germany and Russia at that time were one of the reasons for this long gruesome war. One of the most evil men in history was the dictator of Germany during World War 2. Adolf Hitler rose to power in 1933 and held his position until 1945. He got into power by promising hope for Germany. Hitler was head of the "National Socialist German Workers Party", (Nazis) and he founded the "Hitler Youth Organization" an organization that all German children had to join. The purpose was to be Hitler's spies and to tell him if they saw anybody saying offensive things about him. They would be arrested and thrown into jail, sometimes even worse. The
Mussolini and his troops entered World War 2 going first after southern France. Two days after the invasion Great Britain and France declared war on Germany. This evil man put the men that helped him get into power into jail because he feared that someday they would overthrow him. He became the head of the Fascist party in 1919. In 1945 they achieved their goal and Germany surrendered. But in 1945 things started to go downhill for Germany and after Germany surrendered to the allies. R and Germany signed a peace treaty and decided to divide the conquered Poland between them. Over six million Jews were killed in that time of war.
