Do We Actually Feel Safer After September 11th?

Many methods of waging war have been utilized throughout history. Arguably, at some point, was the philosophy that there is no distinction between war and terrorism. And this might even seem logical as a resource in regards to evening battlegrounds by opening the degree of response any third world country or paramilitary organization might possess to any perceived threat. However, United Nations resolutions have indisputably defined terrorism as violence, and or the threat of violence, against a population at large in order to affect a political change. Nevertheless, many acts of terrorism disguised as war have been committed by ourselves and others before and since these resolutions. Therefore, a more refined question in this case might ask, "Does America really feel safe after September 11?" The answer is: did America feel safe after Pearl Harbor was destroyed on December 7, 1941? No. But this was not the first terrorist attack that happened. The first attack dates back to July of 1916, when German saboteurs demolished a U.S. munitions plant in Jers

Then he roamed around the port for approximately two hours unnoticed among stacked shipping containers. Has America stepped up with enough security to protect its sovereign borders? The answer to that question is also no. In the end, his findings were astonishing. With this in mind, Michael decided to test the sensitiveness of the security of the nation's largest port in Los Angeles. America has taken many steps to try and make the United States the safest place possible, such as the Patriot Act and instituting the Homeland Security Act. This information is according to an article written by Frank Davis recently published in the Lexington Herald-Leader. Despite the war on terrorism, efforts at homeland security and the invasion of Iraq, most Americans say that they feel no safer from terrorist attacks than they did two years ago. In addition, a question that has been asked over and over again for the past two years since the attacks showed a constant level of concern about more terrorist attacks. In conclusion, how much safer is America after September 11? Many people feel that the world is much safer, but many others also believe that we are more vulnerable now than we have ever been before. With that said, the numbers have held strong between seventy and eighty percent. He drove straight through the truck lanes of the port without ever being stopped. Many people believe that America is trying to play the role of the world policeman in the Middle East. An article written by Michael Hirsh, a reporter from Newsweek, discusses a problem with the security of ports around the United States.
