My grandmother viewed the large amount of left-over food as wasteful; however, mymother saw the situation as a supply of good food. According to my mother, "It's no big deal. Therefore, perhaps only time can bring a conclusion to the conflicting viewpoints of mymother and grandmother. The fact that about 200 dollars werespent to purchase the supplies for the party was seen as a worthwhile expense by mymother.
