Too Many Tests!
A new law has just been passed requiring schools to burden students with more tests. Most kids these days hate having tests and homework, but I'm not one of them. I find homework fascinating, especially when it comes to history and science and reading, which are my favorite subjects. Though tests are not my favorite pastime, I do consider them useful. More tests help students achieve more and work harder. If schools only required us to just do homework, it would be a cinch! The answers to homework are always written in the book, so you can always find it if you look. But tests are different. Tests test what you really know, your learning skills, not your finding skills. When taking a test, you can't search a book until you find the answer. You really have to really know that information. Obeying this new law will help teach students a lesson: studying for ten hours before every test is impossible. You have to pay attention in class! Speaking of paying attention, that's another reason why we should have
Once students get used to the new testing methods, life won't be so bad. It's another nightmare that students fear. Then the rest of the time left after test taking is still used for students to learn from their teachers. It's a lot better to have three-minute horrors in school than to have three-hour nightmares out of school. Having more tests means the end of education problems here! . Children don't pay attention in class, usually the boys. Without the burden of handling a bunch of wild squirrels, teachers can have a more pleasant time teaching. Teachers now can have more free time for themselves to do what they want to get done. On the other hand, maybe some people, like me, will start liking tests and thinking on the bright side. Never has a solution for a great education become so apparent: it's more tests! More tests also provide additional relief for teachers. Tests keep students busy and well occupied, so there won't be headaches over talking and childish pranks for teachers. More test taking hours in school prevents teachers from assigning mounds of homework. So, now that you think about it, tests not only help teachers, students benefit from them too! I believe that everyone benefits from tests, so it can't hurt to have a bit more of something that everyone can benefit from. Thus I totally support the idea of more tests.
