My theory on the movie would have to be disagreeing with the people who wanted the "Gentlemen's Club" out of business. In the movie a former stripper said the words that describe the whole movie, "they pay for the fantasy." There are two sides arguing threw out the entire movie. For the most part I can understand how the people against the club would want to have every club removed. Nevertheless, I also can understand how the club owners would just want to run a successful business. The people against the clubs want the club owners away or not to close to public schools or residential area. If they really wanted to have the clubs removed, all they would have to do is
I feel that they have every right to do whatever it is that they feel like within the club. If it has in good taste and not trying to have people under an age join or to come in the club for more business then it is all right with me. However, it will cost them in the long run there are plenty of fish in the sea you just have to know where to look and use the right bate, and if the strippers do not have a problem with men paying too see them topless or doing a little dance then who cares. In the film they show how the mayor of New York "Mayor Giuliani" set zoning laws on one of the most popular club streets in New York City, 42 nd street and it changed itself. In conclusion my idea of this whole situation is a joke if people want to go waste their money on women's they can only fantasize about then let it is. Clubs also have rules inside the club like age for going in, age for alcohol, smoking or nonsmoking etc. According to the video they said they were capable of making anywhere from $50 to $60,000 dollars a week. However, also if the owners of the club pay for the business and pay the property tax the club tax the alcohol tax etc. Also the strippers get a good paying amount, but they can make anywhere from 1,000 dollars a day up to 10,000 dollars a weekend. They should move them out away from the residential areas but if there not anywhere near a neighborhood with children then they have every wright to do what they want. The "Gentlemen's Clubs" is a good size business they make plenty of money and they have plenty of employers willing to work, so they can get themselves by in life. It is there lose they might get a good lap dance out of it. convince someone who is really big like the mayor or president.
