When spring quits the scene, the summer comes on. Of all the four seasons, perhaps summer is the most pleasant and charming. There is a lush growth of trees and grass. Flowers are in the fullest bloom. This season is the most cheerful of all, especially for students who have a very long vacation in it. The dreadful examination had finished at last! A feeling of relief occupied my heart, so I had a fit of interest in going on an excursion. I invited two friends to go on an outing with me on Sunday. That morning, the weather was neither too hot nor too cold. The sky was clear and the air was refreshing. It suited everyone best for making journeys. I got up at six when my family were still sound asleep. I tiptoed out of the house and went straight towards my friend's house. After greeting one another, we set off in high spirits. When we got to the bus stop, the queue for the bus was so long that we wondered when we should reach our destination. We just waited for there because we had no chose. Hopefully, when we arrived at the garden, it was nearly eleven o'clock. Our destination was the small garden up on the hill. After we had alighted from the bus, we walked along the path in three. When the bicycle was slide down the slope, it hit a rock. I was deadly frightened and nearly cried. When I rushed against the tree, they were blind with terror. I found myself in a fix because my bicycle went faster and faster, but I lost the control of my bicycle. I fell off the bicycle and rushed against a tree. Finally, I lived in the hospital for a month and I could not go out in this summer holiday. Thunder went pealing across the sky, peal by peal, and died away in the distance. We enjoyed riding the bicycles, and we had a lot of fun. I did not know how I reached the hospital at last. All of sudden, the sky turned dark, and the rain began to fall. Animals were coming out to bathe in the lovely sunshine. When I woke up, I found myself in the hospital and my leg was broken. All the grass on the lawn was immersed in water.
