God is
When one talks of God as an individual they talk of him being the almighty powerful being that everybody is supposed to worship and can not even be spelled as god but instead God. In the book The Philosophy of Religion, they say that we should not talk of God as being a normal human but instead being distinct in his own stellar way. However, in my opinion God should not be thought of as a higher being than a human because we do not see him as normal humans see other humans. Therefore why should I think he is any better than the normal citizen if I can not see his extremities in real life? In the chapter they say God is supposed to be
" However, people that believe in God make it seem easy yet there are complicated issues dealing the religion of Catholicism. In my eyes questioners and analyzers find out things for themselves are have more complex minds for that subject and subjects in the future. Catholics make it seem easy in the gist of things because they want you to go along with everything they say. "God is simple mean in part that God is not a member of any genus or species. (Davies 8) How as a human with a mind that thinks at different levels is supposed to believe in something that doesn't have a weight, height, color, or simple existence on this earth. God belongs to no person or individual according to this perspective so what is that supposed to mean to his believers. Catholics are supposed to believe in something that does not belong to anything else but himself? Something that we are supposed to believe in that has no properties, has no belonging to any kind, lacks attributes or properties distinguishable from himself, and has no weight, height, coloring, or has no simple identity is definitely not simple in anyway. "(Davies 9) can be questioned whether it is simple or not. How am I to believe this person is "simple" if he is described physically to me as air and a spirit? The higher heavens sent down one man in the Bible who is supposed to virtually represent three different spirits in one? Yet we are not allowed to think of him of specie? In conclusion whether somebody is catholic or not like myself, everybody can figure out for themselves what is "simple" or not. They say it is simple because they do not question.
