Creation v. Evolution

Throughout history, humans have interpreted what they see and what they read in many different ways. Most of the time these interpretations are heavily based on their beliefs in religion. One issue that is in great turmoil due to these beliefs is Charles Darwin's theory of Evolution in correlation with The Bible.
Charles Darwin's theory of Evolution went against the majority of many peoples beliefs. Before this theory of evolution was proposed the main belief of how humans came into existents came straight from The Bible; for these were God's words and God is the almighty oracle. In opposition of The Bible, Darwin's theory of Evolution explained the creation of the species as a slow process over time of natural selection. This natural selection involved the survival of the fittest and most adaptable because of slight mutations that gave the life form survival advantage over others of the same species. The theory of evolution allowed these stronger members of the species to pass on their genes, which gave their offspring genetic advantages. This natural selection started with the first cellular bacteria approximately four billion years ago. Over the course of time these bacteria have grown and evolved into the vast array of life on the planet today.
The confliction of Evolution and Creationism has been approached from many different angles. One of the first to address the ideas of this issue was the Greek philosopher Aristotle.
