TPEA scholarship essay
To start off, I would like thank the TPEA Scholarship Committee for giving me the opportunity at such a wonderful scholarship. I have a lot to say and a short time to say it but I will do my best to tell you all everything about my Educational goals, aspirations, and my future career plans.During most of my high school career soccer was a big part of my life. I lived and breathed soccer; but, during my senior year I came to realize that I needed to start thinking about furthering my education and what I would major in. I had many different ideas but the
I will work as hard as I can to get to where I want to be in my life and with your help I could have an excellent jump start on my education. one that seemed to make the most since was Kinesiology. This would work with my goal of becoming a Physical Education Teacher and a Coach. That job was enough to tell me that I had a gift for teaching children and let me know what I wanted to study in college. After a few years doing this, and getting some experience in the teaching field, I would like to move up to older kids, maybe high school so I can become a soccer coach. By majoring in Kinesiology I could learn how the body stays healthy physically and learn to help others stay healthy. This idea started when I was in Co-op my senior year in high school. I was able to help the children during there morning routine and even was able to teach them in a section about soccer. To end this, I would like to say that again I am very appreciative of the opportunity for a chance at winning this scholarship. This is a great way for me to put my teaching skills and soccer skill into perspective for the future. My goal is to start off as a Physical Education Teacher teaching young kids the importance good health and physical activity. I worked at Canyon Intermediate School and my job was the Physical Education Assistant. Now after I've completed my higher education, I would like to become a teacher.
