GDP GROWTH SLOWER IN 3Q
             This article is about the slowest pace of the economy in four years in the third quarter. The #'s of GDP according to the Commerce Department was reportedly 2.4 percent in the quarter, down from the estimated 2.7 percent rate. Some say the percent is even lower. The drop from the second quarter's 5.6 percent rate was an obviously large plumment, attributed to the "downturns in investment and in federal government spending as well as less inventory building by businesses." Since the 1999, it is said that the Fed has raised rates six times, and economists feel that they(the FED)are finally getting what they want by this decline in GDP. Some, like economist Oscar Gonzalez, feel that the slowing trend will continue and the FED will become uneasy, possibly wanting to undo what theyve done and start easing rates.
             The article deals greatly with macroeconomic elements because it has to do with the GDP of one of the most, if not the most, powerful country in the world.
