Gandhi
The major motion picture "Gandhi" was a true-life story of maybe one of the greatest people that have ever walked this earth. He had a dream of an independent India, and every year, every day, every hour of his journey; he had come one step closer to realizing his dream. At first when he attempted to obtain India's freedom the task seemed impossible, due to the fact that Britain had such a firm grip on India, no one could loosen it. But at the end the word Britain was only a faint whisper in the wind. However after India obtained her freedom f
rom Britain, things weren't perfect, she had great internal problems. Only there were inner racial disputes in itself. They accomplished this by keeping India at war between the different inner factions that led to confusion in itself. He was a lawyer trained right from Britain, but on his way to a case he found out the color rules of India. Now the disputes are still arising but India is free, thanks to a man that was involved in the situation, rather than committed!. There were Muslims, seeks and Hindus. He continued his protests and he was ever so becoming very popular around the world, especially India. After that he started a peaceful protest in which a police officer beat him up and it was publicized all over the world. The movie started out with the old India entangled Britain, and we met a man named Gandhi. The very same problems that kept her blind the years before. To combat this Gandhi starved himself in order for this to stop. Before India's freedom, before Gandhi, before the attempted impossible, Britain kept India under control, and in a state of insensitivity to her moves. This went on for his whole life and he was assassinated at the end to keep him from creating a mixed India, one with Muslim, seek and Hindu cultures. While all this was happening Britain would introduce its own beliefs, ideas and troops, in hope to resolve all the anger between the three different factions. Each with their own set of beliefs and values, but after time Britain's were introduced and soon after, both were so entangled, they gave the illusion of one.
