John Adams was educated and thoughtful; he was more of a philosopher rather than a politician. He had thoughts about how to run the United States government that provoked the nation. Adams believed in a government that would promote happiness and security, as well as a government that gave the citizens a chance to speak out, he thought that this system would create a much more dignified America. He worked to make the United States a secure and strong nation by organizing powers of the people as well as the government. John Adams gave America dignity, humanity and a more uplifted role in the world. John Adams conceived in order to have a successful administration that the people must speak out. Adams knew that such a government would give the citizens independence, and a brave new stance. He also contrived that if his philosophies were followed it would teach political virtues of humility, patience, and moderation (Christy). Adams continued his thoughts about his ideologies by adding that this system would have many advantages due to the different characteristics in office (Christy). The ideal government that Adams wanted to create was one that had freedom and diversity. The most important agenda that John Adams wanted to fulfill was the happiness of the people. Adams thought that he was giving the people the gift of freethinking. He also contrived this to be a benefit for the human race (Christy). The two powers that he wanted were a legislative and executive branch (Christy).
