For many individuals in todays society, it is quite hard to avoid being socially influencedin everyday life; therefore, to believe that no one author is socially influenced in theirwriting is simply unfathomable. She received her bachelor's degree from Victoria College in1961, and then went on to receive her Master's degree from Radcliffe College inCambridge, Massachusetts.
