My First Arguement With My Parents

             "Why don't yall just shut up and leave me alone!" I mumbled under my breath as my parents screamed at me from the other room. They had been annoying me all morning and I was ready to leave the house and never come back. My mother started her escapade around six o'clock one Saturday morning in the summer of 2000. Out of our four person family, my mother is the only one that wakes up on a regular basis before six o'clock...especially on the weekends, so when I heard her voice on the intercom telling everyone to wake up I knew the morning was going to get out of line, but I never imagined how big the fight would actually get.
             "Get up now! Today you'll be cleaning and you will not leave to go anywhere", my mother yelled on the intercom to my brother and I waking us up from what felt like the best sleep ever.
             "You told me that I could go out at two o'clock with my friends two weeks ago", I said very concerned. After about thirty seconds of silence I heard laughter from my mother and her footsteps walking into the garage. She left me without giving me an answer. She laughed... she left... and I felt myself getting angry.
             I heard my old outdated Nokia cell phone ringing in my room so I ran to go see who it was; it was my two best friends, Jasmine and Bryan on three-way. They called to see if I was still riding with them to the University of Georgia football game then to the A-U centers step shows afterwards that evening. We had been planning that outing for weeks and we were very excited. I let them know that my mother originally said yes but was acting a little crazy this morning. They told me to make sure I followed her directions, cleaned as much as possible, and most importantly, don't get and attitude with her.
