He is kind of geeky, intocomputers and loves Dinosaurs. Alan Grant who isa renowned paleontologist who agrees to visit Jurassic Park only to find out itis the home of several Dinosaurs. Thecharacters show the greatest difference in the movie and the book. I loved the movie, but when Iread the book for the first time I was blown away. Therewere many opposites in the characters and even the roles and elements of Timand Lex were reversed. Read it as something for fun, not for school. First of all this book thoughtus a few basic things about DNA. The experience of the book it muchbetter then. The Significance of the Bookto the Student. He is presumably dead in Jurassic Park the book, but"miraculously" is in the sequel, The Lost World. And go at yourown pace, but read a lot, it's a big book.
