Privacy paper

I believe law enforcement should do a better job of protecting private information from abuse. Law enforcement tells us they are tracking down more criminals with surveillance. Strossen stated, "Surveillance cameras that had been mounted for 22 mounts in New York City's Times Square led to only 10 arrest before they were dismantled. The bills put in to law need to regulate the access to surveillance and information by law enforcement agencies. Until congress passes and implements improved legislation, the access of personal information will continue to fall into the hands of corrupted people with criminal values. Ineffective cameras, like the one in Times Square, should be removed to guarantee the preservation of our constitutional right to privacy. treat privacy for what it is one very important right. Where does the abuse of personal information ended? Apparently nowhere, because if the abuse of personal information by using cameras and wiretapping does not satisfies a persons curiosity, then it is even easier to find out about a person history by searching the internet. If law agencies are not satisfied with camera usage, they can also use tapping techniques to hear and see everything inside or outside a house. Simson added, "Hitler's secret police used the records of governments and private organizations in the countries he invaded to round up people who posed the greatest threat to the German occupation" (Barnet and Bedau 675-676).
