CHALLENGES FACING URBAN TRANSPORT IN ASIAOne of the greatest challenges facing the new millennium is to effect a well integrated and environmentally acceptable solution for urban transportation. A balanced series of measures proposed would keep the cities at the forefront of economic activity and make them more pleasant places to live.
