My Hangout
Immediately as you walk in the entertainingly decorated apartment you can tell that two bachelors live there. Throughout the whole place you maintain the atmosphere of having two fun loving party animals living there. Although the cleanliness of this palace might throw you off. As you enter the apartment the first impression is the dining room, and a glimpse into the immaculately clean kitchen. You get a strong feeling that the inhabitants are heavy drinkers; because the first things to catch your is an extensive collection of empty liquor bottles on a shelf, with an equally impressive collection of beer signs and posters surrounding them to help add character to the otherwise drab tan walls met with brown carpet. In the center of the room is a round wood table of perfect size for playing cards. Around the table there are four matching wood chairs neatly pushed in. When examining the kitchen you might think that two women live there. You can practically see your reflection in the shine of the white linoleum floor, and t . . .
In the center of the room is a very contemporary glass table, over top of a black and white rug with an interesting zig zag design. One wall is all sliding doors with a closet behind them; while all the other walls have black lights and posters trying to add excitement to the dull theme of the apartments walls and carpet. As you enter the living room your eye is immediately caught by a very impressive entertainment center. After all this observing I am left a little tired so I go back to that bedroom and plop down on to that queen sized bed, my bed. On the balcony there are four plastic white chairs accompanied with a grill, and a giant Michigan flag. On the doors of the refrigerator you can see a lot of memories and friends in about two-dozen pictures. Surprisingly though other than a few pictures the kitchen is pretty plain having; brown cabinets, tan walls and tan appliances. Connected to this 750-watt receiver are six speakers strategically placed throughout the room. Then as you move back through the dining room and into the hi-tech living room. In this small bedroom there is a neatly made queen sized bed, with a blue and white check comforter; a brown and gray computer desk complete with a brand new Dell computer; next to that there is another entertainment center with all the features of the one in the living room minus the DVD player; and a dresser that is covered with a bunch of odds and ends for everyday life. This amazing stereo is all wired through the digital Sony receiver, including a twenty-seven inch Sony television, Sony CD and DVD player, as well as a Nintendo 64 and a Dreamcast. There is an ugly white shower curtain, covering a disgustingly dirty bathtub. It is obvious that its owner has put a lot of time and money into this home theater. Once you walk into the bathroom you feel like you have walked into a whole other place, because it is so dirty. Next to the couch, in the corner of the room, is a Papasan chair (one of those round chairs they sell at Pier 1) with an off white cushion, that looks comfortable enough to sleep in.
