Being a nurse is a wonderful career choice with amazing responsibilities. A nurse is given an opportunity to help patients, whether it is by helping them through the difficult times of sickness, or a time of excitement when they have decided to extend their family through the birth of a child. So much in this life is uncertain and helping people get through those times not only help make their lives
There are many areas a registered nurse can work in and I'm looking forward to all of the options that will be available. I want to give the feeling of comfort and care to future patients that the nurses gave to me during my pregnancy and hopefully there will be more people who will have a desire to become a nurse so we can avoid another family from feeling neglected. Another time was when my great grandmother became sick and the hospital was under staffed and she wasn't given the attention she deserved. My goal through the nursing program is to study the curriculum that is required to become a skilled nurse, one that can help make the patient feel safe and cared for. My desire to become a nurse evolved from some circumstances that took place in my life. I have been there when a new life came into this world and when another left. When I became pregnant with my first child it was a scary time for me but there were caring nurses around that made that exciting time easier. easier but also reminds me that human life is fragile and one to be cherished.
