Believe in love
Someone falling in love, someone failing in love, someone telling me that love is as beautiful as an angel, someone warning me love is as dangerous as a snake, I am really puzzled about it. In this changeful world ,it seems that people have got used to warmly talking about the sweetness of love while bitterly complaining that there isn't true love at all in this age of instant noodle. This morning, standing before the window , I read the sonnet by Shakespeare time and time again. The process is just like making a dialogue with the master of 15th century. He makes me believe love is gorgeous and worthy expecting. The sonnet, with the distinct style of Shakespeare, has the rhyme:ababcdcdefefgg. It can be divided into 3 stanzas:line1-line 4, in which the poet denies the so-called love that may change; line5---line12,in which he defines what is true love by using 3 metaphors;line13----line 14, in which the master says in a humorous way, "believe me or not, it's up to you.", making readers cannot help smiling. As I have said above, a dialogue happens between Shakespeare and me. The literature saint ,like a god father, answers my questions about love , so h
An irresistible impulse jumps into my mind, "I decide, at this moment to find some guy to speak the words out loudly to me. Life is impossible to keep the same face all the time. People in love may touch each other's hands, embrace or even kiss. I'd like to show my gratitude to Shakespeare who lets me believe in love more than ever. In this sense, knowing the worth of love is a more advanced level. Satan of time may curve wrinkles on lovers' faces, or turn their hair gray, but the true love still binds two hearts tightly. " (3) love is not time's food The two affirmative sentences seem a bit pale to define love, so the poet , in this third metaphor, deliberately uses a negative sentence to enhance the vigour of language. Putting my hands on my heart, reading the poem again, I smile and begin to wait for my true love. He gives us a picture: in the darkness of the sea, the tempest like a tyranny abusing his evil power, many boats of lovers struggling towards the beacon. If we describe the height of love as soft drinks, then the worth of love is like a pot of wine which needs many years to ferment. So now it's easier to understand why Shakespeare says" whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken. Love is not a flash in the pan, which must be deeply implanted in the lovers' spirit, not just be maintained by youthful appearance. Its directness and the use of hyperbole leave me joyful and even excited. (3) about vows "Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks , But bears it out even to the edge of doom" This is the topic sentence of the poem.
