Change in technology

Technology has brought us to higher places, given us new avenues to explore and to expand. Technology specifically computers have made much of common life much easier, without we would in essence be back to what we would think as the “pilgrim” age. While they push themselves through everyday just to

get something to eat we can drive down to the supermarket. Not only do they not have the technology they also don’t have as “easy going” life as us either. However other civilizations would love to have the benefits we have. The fact that I am digitally writing this essay as opposed to manually or doing it with a type writer is a major advancement. The US has the potential to be far ahead of the technological curve and to help other nations if we use our technology to their benefit.

We as Americans unfortunately take technology for granted because we are surrounded by it everyday, between neon signs, cars, and even electricity, we just blow by them like they are supposed to be there.

The US does have a great advantage with our great amount of technology, we just must make sure it is used for good reasons and not throw all away. Between the advancement in computers which is being used just about everywhere from hospitals to grocery store to cars. The computer has made many things possible, we can now detect the sex of a baby before it’s born, and we can also perform complex surgeries with the aid of computer visualizations in the body. There are so many things that have been mad possible because of our “excellence” and success when it comes to working with technology.
