The Native Americans and the Europeans had many different beliefs regarding spirituality, property, wealth, community, and family life. In the European community the women were not respected at all. The Native Americans on the other hand believed in many Gods and had no written scripture to follow. Finally the two cultures differed greatly in religious practices. The Native Americans were more worried about the group than themselves. The Europeans were very materialistic while the Native Americans lived very simple lives. The community life was also very different for each group of people. They had no say in what was going on in their community. Their religion was passed down by stories. Another difference between the two cultures was wealth. The workload was shared among the men and women in the Native American community, while the European men did all of the work. On the other hand the Europeans loved the thought of wealth because it gave them the satisfaction that they are of higher class than another person. The Native Americans believed that everyone should be able to use the resources that were available. The Native American people were more willing to share than the European people. The European people believed in one God and had written scriptures in which they followed.
