Signs of and Reasons for Suicide

             There is a time in everyone's lives where they go into a time of depression, and whatever method one chooses to cope with these feelings is solely up to them. For the longest time suicide has played a major role in our society. Suicide will never leave the universe or imaginarily disappear, it will always be present. There are many different strategies in committing suicide, but most of these thoughts come from the surroundings that one is set in. The word suicide means the act of killing oneself purposely. If the world can have more people to become accountable to others then maybe the decrease in suicides will die down. If the society can be more optimistic than pessimistic then it won't bring people down to a level where they will deal with suicide. Suicide comes in all shapes and forms and can be brought upon by anyone who is willing to kill themselves. Suicide can come at any moment or any second of the day by a split reaction of someone dealing with problems or trying to run from a problem. People who have worked with depressed teens may see a common pattern of unhappiness, feelings of inner disturbance, chaos, low self-worth, hopelessness and anger. All of these signs must be taken very seriously and in account when dealing with suicidal victims. Teen suicide results from social pressure to conform to ideal standards of society because of stereotypes, media, and peer pressure.
             There isn't exactly one specific reason and sign of suicidal attempts, but these can be treated if done in a certain manner. There are plenty of reasons in why a person would like to inflict pain on oneself. Some reasons may be because of the family home life and the way it affects the way they live and are brought up. Others are because of romantic breakups, deaths, school life, SAT's, friends, money, jobs, and tests.
