This description of the similarities and differences between the story and the movie is capable of informing people of how the story and movie relate to one another and of some opinions about them.

So whether the reader and or watcher liked the story or the movie more than the other is his or her own personal opinion. In the movie, while Melanie is crossing back to the dock form Mitch’s house, a sea-gull swooped down and cut her forehead. In the movie, Mitch and Melanie met in a pet shop two days before the attacks began, so there is no way that they could have been married. Similarly, in the story, when Nat went to the window to investigate, for the second time, what he and his wife had heard, half a dozen birds attacked him in the face. In the movie it was only the crows, gulls, and local birds attacking the townsfolk, while in the book there were birds of prey as well as the local birds attacking. In both the movie and the story, the birds attacked people. When Mitch went to Melanie’s automobile, he flipped on the radio and it was there that the announcer briefed him on what was happening. go find help, so if they are the last thing seen, then they would have to still be alive. There were also a few differences between the birds in the movie and the birds in the book. There are also quite a few differences concerning the characters. One of the differences is that in the movie, the main characters are unrelated, but in the story, the main characters are married. In the movie when Melanie went upstairs to investigate the sound she heard, she shined the light at the birds and they attacked her and almost killed her. In the story, Nat and his family never got the newscast on what was happening, whereas Mitch and Melanie got the news. In the story the hawks, buzzards, and other hunting birds attacked the windows and doors, making it severely dangerous because of their extra pointy beaks and extremely sharp talons.
