Failure-How to Look at it.

Rajan, Alma-mater, Chennai.From young age, failure is my co-passenger in the journey towards growth. I have met with lot of failures in my school days from the angle of studies, sports, making friends and reputation with teachers.From the compulsion of my parents and other family members, I was forced to join VII Std. In Chettinad Vidyashram, a CBSE Board school in chennai. To tell you how disgusting I was before joining the school is by narrating an experience.It was my first
day in chettinad vidyashram, all the students were assembled in the ground for a prayer followed by national anthem. It was during that moment I realized that how much I was behind from the rest of them. Also, a burning resolution was taken that before leaving this school, I will be among the top students who have left their mark in the school. The lesson that I have learned from my school days always lingers in my mind whenever I encounter a problem. I formed a small group of friends in school, it was interacting and being with them I learned the basic etiquettes of life. Things slowly started changing from Std. IX, but my passion to be on the top slot never diminished. Slowly the respect and acceptance by the classmates and the reputation among the teachers also started coming. Thus, after completing XII from chettinad vidyashram and being school 3rd in the board exam, I knew I had left the mark in the school and successfully accomplished my resolution. After that I never looked back, I was always among the top 3 students in the class. Till then I never realized the importance of education. This creates a mind-set that the failures are nothing but the opportunities for me to excel.
