With its clothes sloppily stacked in piles on the floor, backpacks all over, papers strewn about and packing supplies casually laid out, this is my room. It is my private sanctuary, calm, peaceful, and all for me. I enjoy spending endless nights in here doing homework or just relaxing. As you walk into my private retreat you see it all: my golden brown wooden dresser with it's off white shelves, my alluring twin bed with its cuddly stuffed animals, my spacious yet cluttered desk, my endless towers of shoes, and my comfortable love couch laden with clothes and knickknacks. The top of the dresser is amassed with ornaments and crafts, each uniquely made by me, each with their own sentimental value. The multicolored, one-eyed gremlin stares at me like a viscous crow watching my every move. The innocent picture of my brother and I at Universal Studios posing in front of a great white shark lures me in with our puppy dog eyes. My spacious twin size bed greets me with its navy blue duvet covers and gigantic goose feather pillows fluffed to perfection. Here, I fall asleep in a blink of an eye with the yellow silk bunny my girlfriend expertly crafted for me. The head of my bed features a wide array of books that I engaged myself in back in my mischievous youth, the haunting tales of Goosebumps and the mysteries of the Hardy Boys. Posters surrounding my bed stare down and encourage me to always follow my goals and never give up in pursuing my dreams. Beside my bed, engulfed in graded papers, bordered by stacks of ancient textbooks, it even collects its own pictures, trophies and eraser scrapings is what can be depicted as my desk. Just to the left of my desk rests my pride and joy, the most prized possessions in my room, my humble shoe collection.
