Who do you believe to be the three major artists and designers who are shaping the discipline you are interested in pursuing or who have influenced you? These should be individuals who have brought relevance to the world or to you in some social, political, emotional, economic, or other meaningful context. Explain why you feel they are important. In what ways do you want your own work to contribute to or make a difference in the world?This is a question that in my opinion does not have a single answer. From years and years there have been hundreds of talented people with enormous creative minds that were and are constantly developing new ideas, concepts and realities. There are a lot of artists that portrait reality in many different ways, with many different intentions; and there are artists whose visually stunning images have changed reality itself and have opened new ways of telling a story.It has been a long time since my love for the visual image started, and since that moment I have been influenced by the creativity and the imagination of many different artists. They may resemble ordinary reality at times, but most of his movies follow the laws of dreams more than they do the physical realities of the world. That is what makes them different, unique and makes them to be an influence of the world that I want to deliver through a camera. This is why Bergman is so special for me. Now is time to start creating my own work and deliver something to the audiences that are watching and listening. They visualize stories in a very particular way, with a unique intention; together they put their great style and deliver a new world in front of a camera. All of the people mentioned through these pages have been people that in some way or another lead me to have a professional life within the film industry. Chris Cunngham, Mark Romanek, Michel Gondry and Jonathan Glazer have been influences during my working years. I must admit that I have been influenced by a lot of the people that deliver an idea through a 30 seconds spot or through music videos. From time to time I have been noticing that sometimes it is sound that activates my imagination. Working together, they created a number of short films, music videos and TV commercials in which they developed their particularly surreal style, a style that now days for me puts them above lots of filmmakers in the world. I consider them to inspiring people to myself. Two French filmmakers whose films shows surreal and beyond imagination worlds and visually striking and complex images that make their films somewhat impenetrable. I don't know if my work would make a difference or a contribution to the world out there, but it will make me really happy and proud to finally view all those ideas that once started in my mind as dreams portrayed though film.
