Nicholas and Alexandra

The setting of the movie is accurate and the costumes are very good. The movie is sort of hard to follow along with but if you have someone educated about the movie someone who knows whats going on to tell you whats happening in the movie, then you will understand the movie better. But if you’re really educated with Russian history this is a movie that you should watch. n plays as Tsar Nicholas II, Janet Suzman plays as Alexandra, Roderic Noble plays as Alexis, and Tom Baker plays as Rasputin. The problem with this movie is that there aren’t much action parts in this movie besides the Bolsheviks killing the family. It only talks about the war not show how it happened how the soldiers had to share bullets because they were so unprepared. This movie is also educational if you are studying Russian history. The actors look very similar like the charters; Michael looked very similar to Nicholas II, same with Tom Baker and Rasputin. So I would recommend this movie for an educational purpose, otherwise its really long and boring especially if you don’t have someone to tell you about the movie and whats happening when it’s playing because the movie can get very confusing. This movie also covered how Lenin started his revolution, life of Alexis and some details of war but not action details.
