Cabeza and his ship sailed to Texas coast and then rejoined by survivors scattered on the shore. He stayed there and learned their customs and language. When they would try to cure their illnesses they would pray, use signs of the cross then would burn or sear their wounds or help there sickness.

He then traveled more and joined the Aborigines. storm while sailing to the Americas.
