Slavery1

When you think of the Colonization period in African, do you realize that it affected the whole continent and drained it natural resources for close to century, while enforcing western culture and values. These picture was very clear in the play "I will Marry When I Want" The Author, Ngugi Thongo, made very observable and drew a picture , he also presented the colonial effect on the content more than any of the other novels that we I read. Although colonization changed the direction that Africa would have been taken if the white man stayed away. I think that Slavery did more damage to African civilization and development. To added more insult to the wound , the white man come back to colonize Africa, so as he haven't did enough damage first round. I personally believe that the world would have been better place and more advanced if Slavery and colonization were never taken place, arguing that Africa would being developed and played big part of the industrial revolutions and the progresses that world community made while the continent of Africa were held hostage. Africa would have been played big role for the inventions that occurred during 19 the century indust

The creation of this evil empires and the giant empowered undercover IMF, who's mission is to make sure that Africa never develops, become one of the biggest set back for post-colonial Africa. Some political movements and establishment of successful kingdoms were to emerge. To solve this problem we need to give a quick look in the Ngugi wa Thiongo's play of "I Will Marry When I Want" Shows how families fall apart and frustration and how Kiguuda, a farm laborer gives everything he owned and even gets in to dept and changes his religion, enable to become like kio (wealth pro-European wealthy man). To make things worst colonizer come back took full control of the African economy. I suppose one could find a similar spike in the future generation, but question is how do we prepare the future generation? In the Achebe's novel, the colonialism is portrait as a invading forces that is in Africa to change people religion and culture specs. After long slave trade and wars the first thing that needs to be established is just how much damage has the European colonization did to Africa. They did this either by organizing military cues such as the one that overthrow Lamumba or other means. They made people to surrender their land and on top of that to work as cheap laborers. rial revolution, they would have helped the world economic and stability. How do Africa separate it self from the IMF and the evils it represents? I don't have all the answers here but I will give my opinion. In the book the Igbo community fall apart because of the confusion and sometime the violence that the missionaries impose on them. But before this reorganization movements to flourish so Africa could get up to it's feet, European powers come back to take more, except this time they wanted to take the land and it's people. Also some parts of west Africa had began economic and commercial interaction between African communities.
