             9/11: What has Changed in Three Years
             The day of September 11, 2001, is a day that many will never forget. Some lost jobs, some lost loved ones, some lost lives. America has been trough a lot of changes since that fateful day. We have went to war, we have became more patriotic, and we have increased security everywhere. Some of these changes have been for the good, some are pointless, but the bottom line is America is a changed nation.
             To be a son of a president can be a big responsibility. You have to live up to that name, and that can sometimes be too much pressure. When George W. Bush went into office, he knew what was ahead of him. After the attacks on the World Trade Center, Bush knew it looked bad for him. He did not want to be known as the president that had the tragedy happen. Especially now that some reports have surfaced that may indicate that the attack could have been avoided. To try and throw attention away from him, he starts a war with Iraq, claiming that there were "weapons of mass destruction" in the land. To this day, there have still not been any weapons found in or around that area. The only thing to come out of that war is money gone, soldiers lost and wounded, and a president making himself look bad.
             If the terrorists that outlined the attack on America on that fateful had a plan to change the way we lived, they did their job. More and more citizens of this country have become patriotic. American flags are appearing everywhere. You can see them anywhere from street poles to football player's helmets. Independence Day has moved up in popularity. This generation of Americans can now truly understand what our independence means. The images that the whole country saw on TV let us know that our freedom is not free. It is almost taboo anymore to even speak bad about America.
